It is exciting times as MAP Group (UK), one of the leading national contractors in the field of network installations, supports the roll out of essential high-speed fibre broadband and its associated services. It is a great time to join the team as the company continues expanding both its client base and its national Fibre and Civils installation operations UK wide.

MAP Group (UK) is currently seeking a Business undertake general office duties whilst supporting the associated administration of the business – the successful applicant will also coordinate their activities and provide administrative support to the wider company teams.

The successful candidates will receive full on the job training, whilst they work towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification with the prospect of progressing to Level 5.

The candidate should be organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to own the work they are given.

General administrative duties include:

  • Implementing and maintaining filing and record keeping systems
  • Daily communication around resourcing requirements, training, performance etc.
  • Responsibility for billing and calculating wages of employees against the rate card and work reported as complete.
  • Responsibility for co-coordinating / assist with coordinating resource.
  • Acting as a link between fibre engineers and Head Office.
  • Data input and management
  • Raising notices or other documentary requirements
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and direct/action as appropriate.
  • Taking responsibility for the recording of complaints and their appropriate escalation.
  • Screen all enquiry emails and direct/action as appropriate
  • Photocopying, emailing, and filing of company documents.
  • Arranging Zoom, conference calls and internal meetings.
  • Reporting when required

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good English and numeracy skills, and computer literacy
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Good organisation skills
