Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Installation process are completed to the correct standards. Apart from the duties summarised in the job description, we retain the right to include other reasonable duties which are part of, and incidental to this type of work.

Key Accountabilities – Customer Service

  • Responsible for supplying, Broadband, Telephony and Digital services to customer’s property in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interface with customers to ensure a first time resolution all of their requirements, resolving any technical issues that may arise and liaising with appropriate departments
  • Responsible for all Customer education and maximising opportunities for up selling of company products including sales to new customers.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness/maintenance of activities including work in street cabinets and manholes.
  • Ensuring that all procedures set down are adhered to at all times
  • Responsible for completing all relevant paperwork correctly and that all details are included and that the customer’s signature is present where required
  • Responsible for informing manager/Central Operations Team of any alterations to the daily schedule or reasons for any uncompleted work
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude ensuring that customer expectations are fully met.
  • Display a personal appearance and conduct in accordance with company standards
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
  • Take ownership of and endeavor to resolve all customer issues
  • Escalate issues to the next level when the need arises, ensuring that ownership is accepted
  • Assist in the development of the site to ensure that we meet the requirements of both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure up to date knowledge of company products and services

Key Accountabilities – Team Performance

  • Ensure attendance is in line with daily Rota
  • Support other members of the team where necessary
  • Adhere to all relevant company Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensure adherence to Installation and fault quality standards
  • Be aware of performance standards and how they can be influenced
  • Escalation of network issues via Failed Install process
  • Ensure that test equipment is fit for purpose and checked periodically.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and  in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Develop best working practices and share knowledge with the team
  • Participation in team meetings, communicating any issues or ideas to team members or manager

Key Accountabilities – Individual Performance

  • Ensure own  individual capability by being jointly responsible with line manager for personal development
  • Ensure security of the Network
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and NRSWA procedures
  • Keep abreast of new products and developments and ensure appropriate coaching of all technicians
  • Responsible for control of vehicle and tooling and maintaining same in good order
  • Responsible for the maintenance and security of all equipment issued and carried on vehicles
  • Responsible for maintaining the image of Map through own appearance, cleanliness of vehicle and adopting a professional approach at all times
  • Behaving in a polite and professional manner at all times whether out in the field or on vm premises
  • Completes all field documentation and ensures a timely return
