Fibre Splicer

Map Group (UK) is currently seeking experienced Fibre Splicers with a minimum of two years hands on knowledge and experience in network fibre splicing and testing on the Virgin Media or BT networks.

Responsibilities

• Installation and testing of all fibre cabling works.
• Lone Worker Role on a national Basis
• Work remotely without direct daily supervision on a national basis reporting direct to project management team
• Working on FTTP Projects
• Splicing and Testing throughout external networks and in customer premises in both MDUs and SDUs

Desirable Skills & Experience

• A recognised qualification in Fibre installation and Splicing
• Experience working on either VM or BT network.
• Able to meet strict quality standards.
• Results orientated.
• Awareness of Customer Satisfaction for both internal and external sources.
• Self-Motivated.
• Good communication skills
• Qualified with NRSWA
• A Full UK Driving Licence
