Netomnia are investing in and building a new full-fibre network right across the UK future-proofing homes and businesses with a reliable, high-quality, and high-speed internet connection.

Map Group has been key within this project to deliver Network installation, including civils and cabling. The total number of engineers deployed on-site by Map Group to date is now over 100+ and increasing weekly. We have expanded with this client into multiple towns within the North East which includes Peterlee, Durham, and Spennymoor with more towns going into build in the not too distant future. Map Group has delivered tens of thousands of homes to specification, on time, and within budget.

The scope of works that Map carried out are as follows:

  • Network verification
  • Test Rod and Roping
  • Civils – Blockages, Chamber builds, ducted overlays
  • Poling
  • Spine Cabling
  • Access Cabling – both underground and overhead
  • Fibre Splicing
  • Testing / commissioning

“Map are proud to be working in partnership with Netomnia and expanding on their network coverage within the UK”

Why join MAP Group?

There is much more to MAP than an army high-viz jackets working from our fleet of branded vans – they are just the tip of our business iceberg.

Our work in the field is supported by a nationwide team of designers, surveyors, planners, engineers, health and safety experts, trainers and civils managers. Head Office is also home of the Human Resources and Accounts functions along with the Streetworks Department and the wider project teams.

And that work is long-term and financially rewarding.

We are direct employers. You will work for Map Group and enjoy all the associated benefits. If you are in the field, that includes a uniform, a vehicle with no hidden costs and the correct tools for the job. We encourage personal development and career progression, even if that means switching your role within the group. We encourage learning. There is a strong partnership with our neighbours, the DTN Academy which provides MAP with the trained and qualified people to fulfil our growing order book. The DTN is equipped with the latest online and classroom video courses to make learning and qualifications so much easier.

We are as committed to our people as we are to our clients.

We go the extra yard.
Talk to us, you will not regret it!
