Celebrating Academic Success Across the Map Group (UK) Team

At Map Group (UK), we are proud to invest in the growth and development of our people. We are delighted to share and celebrate the recent academic achievements of two valued members of our team who have graduated from Teesside University with Distinction in their respective programmes.

Congratulations to:

Jess Peters – Central Operations Coordinator
Graduated with a BA (Hons) in Chartered Management (Level 6)

“Map has supported me in attaining my degree since joining the company, and I’m truly grateful for that support.”

Dan Houchen – Legal & Commercial
Graduated with an MA Human Resources Management and Chartership with the CIPD (Level 7)

“I was pleased to be given the support of the company to pursue further professional development as Human Resources became my area of responsibility.”

Their dedication and commitment are a true reflection of the high-performance culture we encourage and support throughout our business.

Investing in Our People

At Map Group (UK), we believe that professional development is key to both individual and company success. That’s why we fully fund all apprenticeships and degree programmes for our employees, including providing paid study time to help them balance their education with their roles.

These opportunities form part of our long-term commitment to developing future leaders, enhancing skills across the business and supporting meaningful career progression.

We are incredibly proud of Jess and Dan’s success and look forward to seeing more of our colleagues reach similar milestones in the years ahead.

Careers

Map is at the hub of Britain’s telecoms revolution and offers a variety of careers in fibre. We are committed to our people and our clients.

Our work is supported by a nationwide team of designers, surveyors, planners, engineers, health and safety experts, trainers and civils managers. Head Office is also home of the Human Resources and Accounts functions along with the wider project teams.

We are direct employers and our work is long-term and financially rewarding.

You will work for Map and enjoy all of the associated benefits. If you are in the field, that includes a uniform, a vehicle with no hidden costs and the correct tools for the job. We encourage personal development and career progression, even if that means switching your role within the group. We encourage learning. There is a strong partnership with our neighbours, the DTN Academy which provides Map with the trained and qualified people to fulfil our growing order book. The DTN is equipped with the latest online and classroom video courses to make learning and qualifications so much easier.

We are as committed to our people as we are to our Clients.

We go the extra yard.
Talk to us, you will not regret it!
