Stockton Town FC missed out on promotion to the Northern Premier League after their loss on penalties in the playoff final against Long Eaton FC on Saturday. Despite the hard work and dedication of the players, the team was unable to secure the win they needed for promotion.
While the loss is undoubtedly disappointing for Stockton Town and their fans, the team can hold their heads high knowing that they gave their all this season.

Map Group would like to congratulate Stockton Town FC in securing a thrilling victory against Stocksbridge Park Steels FC in the Semi-Final of the Northern Premier League Division One East Playoffs. After a hard-fought match that ended in a 2-2 draw, Stockton Town FC held their nerve to win 4-3 on penalties and secure a place in the Playoff Final.
This win sets up a Final against Long Eaton FC on Saturday 29th April at 3:00pm. The winner will secure promotion to the Northern Premier League, making this match one of the biggest in the history of Stockton Town FC.
The Final promises to be an exciting and unforgettable occasion and Stockton Town FC will be doing everything they can to to win promotion this weekend.
