TRAINING - DELIVERY - COMMUNITY

Map Group (UK) Ltd are looking for a full-time permanent Operations Coordinator based at their Teesside site in Stockton. The purpose of this role is to provide a range of administrative assistance to a department servicing our operational colleagues, and to contribute to the achievement of departmental and business-wide objectives. They will also assist with the management of daily business activities and administrative tasks whilst supporting and coordinating fibre engineers and other employees across the country. They will be part of a busy team that supports all general office duties.

Suitable candidates must have good communication and customer service skills, be able to work as part of a team, self-motivated, organised and reliable. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

As well as strong computer skills other key attributes will include attention to detail, coordination skills, the ability to prioritise workload and to work to strict deadlines, as well as excellent customer service skills.

General administrative duties include:

  • Implementing and maintaining filing and record keeping systems
  • Daily communication around resourcing requirements, training, performance etc.
  • Responsibility for billing and calculating wages of employees against the rate card and work reported as complete.
  • Responsibility for co-coordinating / assist with coordinating resource.
  • Acting as a link between fibre engineers and Head Office.
  • Data input and management
  • Raising notices or other documentary requirements
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and direct/action as appropriate.
  • Taking responsibility for the recording of complaints and their appropriate escalation.
  • Greeting visitors
  • Screen all enquiry emails and direct/action as appropriate
  • Photocopying, emailing, and filing of company documents.
  • Arranging Zoom, conference calls and internal meetings.
  • Reporting when required
  • Adhere to company H&S Policies & Procedures
  • Conduct Risk Assessments
  • Adhere to NRSWA CoP

Personal Profile:

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Good English and numeracy skills, and computer literacy

· Accuracy and an eye for detail

· Self-motivated and able to use initiative

· Ability to work well in teams

· Good organisation skills

We are offering the opportunity for Trainee positions to work with blown Fibre installations in the Telecommunication Sector.  The successful candidates will  join Map Group as part of a national project to deliver fibre optic solutions  direct to consumers properties (Fibre To The Home -FTTH).

Key responsibilities & attributes

A full driving licence is essential.

This is a national roaming contract and you will be required to travel around the UK to fulfill our requirements.
